Great price, dimmer replaced in 1 month
Pros: Very nice looking, quality stainless for the price. Upfront controls, simple to operate, low fan noise at lower speed settings.

Cons: Rear halogen light placement means front burners on range are a little dimly lit, but I have other peripheral counter-top lighting that compensates for this, so not really an issue for me. The designed in SAT70 12V halogen transformer failed within the first month, maybe because it was not designed to be dimmed. It was an easy repair to cut the four wires and splice in a better quality Lightech LET-75 transformer. Now the range hood is fully functional.

This is the one you want!
I was very hesitant about ordering a product like this without being able to see, touch, or feel it, especially considering the price! After shopping my local stores I came back and ordered this range hood with my fingers crossed. It finished our total kitchen remodel and is the final piece of bling that finishes the look. My contractor was quite impressed with the air it sucks out of the room! For the price you cannot go wrong with this hood!!! We love it!
Well-built, quiet, and good-looking
Everything you're looking for! This is a really heavy duty range hood, but it's still very quiet even at high speed and almost silent at low speed. The halogen lights are warm and bright, with a full-range dimmer and memory. It would probably be better to have them in the front, but they're bright enough to light up the whole cook surface. The controls and LED display pack a lot of adjustments into an elegant, uncluttered, and easy to use panel. The lines are strong, and it looks really good.

Great Heater.
I recieved the heater within 3 days of placing my order, excellant service from Amazon.com. I installed the heater in my wood shop and it took several hours, since the heater had to be installed to meet Michigan code. I hard wired the unit and ran 1/2" black iron pipe for the supply line and installed the horizontal vent per code. I also order the Mr Heater horizontal vent kit and Mr. Heater thermostat. The thermostat came in damaged caused by a very heavy package that was placed on top of the thermostat during shipping. I tested the the thermostat and indeed it was defective. I went into my account on Amazon.com and returned it to them; HASSLE FREE!! After getting the instructions for the heater and finding out that it also set up to run the fan alone to circulate the air in the summer, I would recommend updating the thermostat to one that has a fan only setting also. I ordered a Honeywell thermostat RTH5100B 1025, which has the fan only feature from Amazon.com. The thermostat wiring...

I have a 30'x 36' wood shop. The heater heats the room rapidly. The heater was vary easy to install. Took me about 4 hours. cutting a hole in the wall and running a propane gas pipe.

Kichler fan
The fan was as advertised. I installed as a ceiling hugger, without the downrod, in a bathroom. The instructions were easy to follow. The fan installed quickly and is operating nicely--it moves a lot of air quietly. It also has a very good look. I would definitely consider fan or another Kichler fan again.

Best purchase I've made in 2010
I LOVE this little heater. I live in St. Pete Florida and needed a space heater for the unseasonably cold weather that we had here. I live in a 650 sq. foot, poorly insulated, garage apartment, and this heater really saved the day when it was in the 20's and 30's outside. We ran only this heater and not our central heater, as the latter costs a fortune and does very little in the way of actual heating. The space heater was used mostly in one large room that comprises about 40% of our apartment, and also in the bedroom which is about 25%. In the bedroom with the door closed this sucker kept it quite warm, even on low (and the bedroom is like 15x13 feet). Granted it takes an hour or so to heat the whole room, but it worked great (so great that we had to shut it off in the middle of the night because we were sweating under our heavy comforter). Very nice room heater
A little smaller than I had anticipated, this little heater does a nice job. I bought it for a basement tool room we have, which stays very cold in the winter. Turn this baby on and in ten minutes it's comfy in there. The amount of heat emanating from its small front doesn't seem like it will heat a room well, but it does. It's very quiet, you can't tell when it's on, whether it's set on oscillating or not. It oscillates about 90 degrees.

Having small children in the house, I like how you can touch it anywhere during its operation and not get burned. The automatic shut-off feature is also a good thing. There are two settings, low and high (600/1200 watts), and both seem to do the job well.
Worked well and a good value
The heater worked well - warmed up a 12 X 12 bedroom with a vaulted ceiling in a very short period of time. Good value - ran quietly. Would recommend to anyone.

Connector is junk, also, this is not three inches.
First off, I was looking for a small bead chain to attach to a very small key chain pocket knife (I wanted a bead chain because it would make it easy to remove in case I end up going somewhere that doesn't allow knives).

I saw '3" Beaded Chain with Connector' and thought it was perfect. When it came in the mail, it appears to have been a typo. It was not 3" (inches), it was 3' (feet). Not a huge deal, and alone wouldn't have warranted a 2 star review. It was easy enough to cut it to the size I wanted.

The connector was the real problem. I got two of these, and on both the connector is pretty cheap. It holds together, but not very well. It's come off a few times on me so far, and this is only in a time span of around a week and a half. I have done nothing crazy to these things to have deformed them myself, it just seems to me that it was made from some cheap metal.

A great buy at 3 foot
I saw one of the other reviewers mention that this chain is longer than the description indicates, so I decided to take a chance when I needed an extension for a light fixture. The chain that arrived was a little more than 3 feet long. It was easy to trim down to the perfect size and I have some extra chain in case I need to replace another chain later. Beaded chains like this have many uses; grab one before someone catches on and fixes the description or price!

Quiet, turns on when needed, no condensation on walls anymore
The Broan Humidity Sensing Fan was installed in our bathroom two months ago. The bathroom doesn't get steamy anymore - no steamed mirrors and no condensation on the walls or window. The fan is quiet - a gentle low whoosh is all I hear. I hear it turn on but it quickly becomes quiet background noise I don't notice. The electrician installed a wall switch for the fan as well. When I wash down the shower walls I can override the sensor, turn the fan on manually and the fan pulls the cleaning smell out of the bathroom quickly. In the morning, when everyone is rushing, no one needs to remember to turn the fan on. Then, in the hurry to get out the door, no one forgets to turn the fan off. Not that we ever had that problem! ;) The humidity sensor feature turns it on every time when needed and turns it off when the air is clear. It will prevent mold AND save energy - it was worth the extra money for the humidity sensor.

Great for teenagers!
We recently renovated our kitchen and bathroom and of all the new things we got, this humidity sensing fan is my favorite. With three teenagers taking showers, we would get so much condensation on the walls that drips would run down the walls and we would get brownish stains (I assume from mold).

This fan turns on automatically shortly after the shower starts and runs for 20 minutes. No more nagging the teenagers to open the window! It can be set up with one wall switch or two switches. With two switches, one turns on the automatic mode (humidity sensor) and one is a manual override to turn the fan on. With one switch, what we have, I can turn the fan on manually by flipping the switch off for 1 second and then back on. Flipping it off for 4 seconds of more and then on again changes it back to automatic mode.

The only reason I didn't rate the fan with 5 stars is that it occasionally turns on when it shouldn't and it doesn't have an adjustable run time. I...
Works great - not ultra silent
While this fan is MUCH quieter than my old one, it is far from silent. But the humidistat feature that turns it on automatically is wonderful & works very well. It comes on almost immediately when we turn on the shower, & we no longer have condensation on the mirrors or window. Great product.

Vortex 36" hugger fan
For me, the specifications were the most important information, because this fan had to clear a closet door by about an inch. The dimensions were exactly as specified, so the installation went off without a hitch. This fan replaced a big-box store's cheapest one, which was a 4 blade 42" model that wobbled and hummed loudly right out of the box, wasn't exactly the size it advertised, and was returned the next day as a result. This one is 6" less, but the six blades more than make up for the shorter length. This throws much more air around than that 42" fan did. It also does not hum at all (nice and quiet!) and it doesn't wobble a bit. I didn't realize it used a different light bulb, though, but that wasn't a big problem. It uses a single "candelabra" base bulb, not included, but which was easy enough to find. Don't buy the candle-shaped ones, though (don't know why you would, since they would be hidden under the globe) because they won't fit under the globe. And don't bother...
