Finally found it- Great fan
Moved in to my condo 3 years ago. Everything works fine except the jet engine like 2 bath fans. Searched for a while and found this Delta breezslim fan is the best performance/cost fan in the market.
I had no attic access, so installation was a bit tough at 1st one trying to find out how to do it. Took me ~ 40 minutes to get 1st one done. The 2nd one only took me 15 minutes. The key is to remove the blower assembly first, then nail the can through 3 holes on one side. Make sure you tape the nozzle to the ducing first before you slide the nozzle base to the track of the can, this is much easier. No ceiling cut is necessary, I think they intentionally make this fan identical to the old fans so it is easier for remodeling/retro-fit.
Fan runs soooooooo smooth and quiet, I am so impressed. My old Nutone was so lound and vibrates so much that I think my neighbor is able to tell how many times I use the bathroom everyday. I am so happy with the new fans, they are not just quiet,...

Perfect replacement builder grade fans for tight spaces
Form factor is just right for replacing that old noisy weak builder grade fan. This baby moves the air well for a small bathroom. The builder grade fan I had would barely disturb the flame of a lit match. The Delta fan sucks the flame and nearly puts the match out. I like the look of this fan...fresh and clean. Definitely recommend.
It is quiet and easy to install
The old exhaust fan was very loud. Can't take it anymore. Did some searching around and found this fan with low noise level rating and with just the right size for that tight spot. It took me less than half and hour to replace the old one. It is a lot quieter than the old one, but not silent for sure. Love it.
One reviewer questioned about the reason for the 1-2 degrees gradient for the duct work going to the outside. The instruction does not explain why. It is to allow any condensation inside the duct to drain out instead of flowing back to the exhaust fan housing. If possible, it is a good practice to insulate the exhaust duct to reduce the condensation inside the duct work, especially in the bathroom installation.
