Great replacement.
Long story short, I busted one of the fan blade arms on the bedroom ceiling fan in my apartment. I did this cleaning the fan which is odd in itself. Since I was moving out and didn't feel like arguing with the landlord I went looking around for a replacement. I could find the right size but wrong finish or the right finish but wrong size in the hardware stores around the neighborhood. Lo and behold, Amazon saves the day again. Perfect screw in replacement with no alterations necessary. I actually felt handy after the 2 minutes it took to replace.

fits the bill
The fan blade arms I ordered were exactly what I needed...they were an exact match as to fitting into the blades...nothing had to be done except to hang them up...I cannot understand why the DIY stores sell only the 53" blade arms when they sell 42" fans also... I did not have to buy a new fan because I found these at Amazon. Thanks...
Perfect solution for hard to find replacement 42"-inch fan brackets
I searched everywhere for replacement arm brackets for a 42-inch ceiling fan - not an easy task. These are exact replacements for the ones that had broken - antique brass matches and holes line up with existing holes in wooden fan blades. Very happy with this product and much cheaper than replacing the entire ceiling fan!!
